مغمضة عينها وتتنفس بسرعة وخوف. واقفة بين الحائط وزراعه. "ابعد! قرب شفته من أذنها حتى شعرت بأنفاسه. تحدث بهمس وبطء وفحيح مرعب: "هدوقك من نفس الكأس اللي شرب منه." تعجبت من كلماته وتفتحت عينيها مصدومة. "ا.. انت... قبل أن تكمل، أمسك خصلة من شعرها وقبلها. "شعرك حلو." أدركت أنها بشعرها أمامه. حاولت دفعه، ولكن فجأة أحست بألم في رقبتها وعدم توازن. وبتلعتها تلك الدوامة السوداء. "صفاء.. صفاء.. اصحي!

فتحت عينيها لتجد نفسها على الفراش. "م.. ماما." "يلا قومي عشان تفطري." نظرت حولها. متى أتت إلى هنا؟ آخر ما تتذكره هو حديثها مع ياسين. "صفاء." "ا.. أيوه يا ماما." "يلا قومي." "ح.. حاضر." خرجت والدتها. "ايه اللي حصل؟ م.. معقول كنت بحلم؟ نهضت ودخلت الحمام. "أمال كريم فين؟ "مشي هو وياسين الصبح بيفطروا بدري عنا عشان الشغل." هزت رأسها ولم تعلق. جلست تتناول الطعام. "صفاء." "أيوه يا بابا." "هتعملي إيه مع طليقك؟ تركت الملعقة.

"مش عايزة حاجة منه... و.. وأنا اللي طلبت منه الطلاق." "إحنا مش عايزين منه حاجة، أنا بس بسألك عشان لو عندك رأي تاني." "لأ يا بابا، رأيكم صح." "ماشي يابنتي كملي أكلك." نظفت الغرفة، فلن تنتظر شقيقها لفعلها. جلست وأمسكت هاتفها. تصفحت حسابه من رقم آخر. كان ينشر صورة فرحة وهو سعيد ومبتسم، وكأنه زواجه الأول. أغمضت عينيها بألم. "هتفضل أنت يا سيف أكتر قرار هندم عليه طول حياتي." نهضت وأغلقت الهاتف.

وعندما نهضت شعرت فجأة بألم شديد للغاية في معدتها ودوار مفاجئ جعلها تستند على السرير. "آه.. بطني.. م.. مالها." في الليل. "مالك يا صفاء؟ كانوا جالسين على المائدة، وهي لا تأكل وتضع يدها على بطنها. "م.. مفيش.. شوية مغص بس." "إنتي مأكلتيش يا حبيبتي حاجة.. حتى الصبح." "أنا كويسة.. ماليش نفس بس." كانت ستنهض عندما عاودها الدوار والألم الشديد. لتصرخ بشدة. "آآآآآه! فزع الجميع.
